Acupuncture Therapy
针灸疗法是我国中医学中的一门绝技。采用针刺穴位的方法来治疗疾病。对银屑病的针灸治疗一般以祛风止痒为治标，养血润燥，活血化瘀，清热凉血为基本治疗原则。针灸治疗银屑病多采取远端取穴与近端取穴相结合、辨证取穴与特殊取穴棚结合的方法。
The acupuncture is a unique technique of TCM. The acupoints are needled for illness treatment. For psoriasis treatment, the acupuncture is generally made through the symptomatic treatment via “pathogenic wind dispelling for itching relief” and the basic principles of “Blood nourishing for dryness moistening, blood circulation invigorating for blood stasis expelling, and heat clearing & blood cooling”. For the acupuncture therapy of psoriasis, both the distal and proximal acupoints are generally selected on the basis of syndrome differentiation and special consideration.
治疗中应注意寻找和去除可能使银屑病复发、加重的因素，根据分型、分期、皮损严重程度及部位，选择合适的治疗方法。
The possible factors for recurrence/exacerbation of psoriasis should be found and eliminated as far as possible. The proper treatment methods should be selected according to the type, stage, severity and site of skin injury.
